Fuse Networking is a business building community comprised of Metro Atlanta professionals who value the power of networking, and understand the importance of learning from one another through discussion and sharing of business experiences.
There are two types of Fuse Networking Events:
- Monthly membership-based breakfast round table discussions
- Quarterly business after hours open networking
Fuse Networking (originally named “Business After Hours”), was founded by Art Wood in January of 2011. Art Wood is a recognized mortgage professional and community leader, who has always considered the benefit of quality networking as an essential business relationship building tool.
His goal to provide a welcoming and relaxed social setting where Metro Atlanta professionals could gather to network, became a reality at Smoke Rise Country Club. The venue offered all the amenities he sought, and much more—such as the opportunity to join in for round of golf before networking.
Fuse Networking events have regularly continued to bring together hundreds of local professionals for top-notch networking.
In January of 2017, Art introduced the “Fuse Networking Breakfast Round Table Networking Series,” a monthly membership-based, subject-driven 90-minute discussion and idea workshop meeting, geared to address business issues affecting all professionals regardless of industry.
As of July 2017, there are two separate groups that meet independently on the second Thursday and fourth Tuesday of each month. The groups are limited to 20 professionals each.
Fuse Business After Hours Open Networking continues to be a popular event, typically taking place on the last Thursday of each quarter (March, June, September, and December). The entire business community is invited and encouraged to participate and network.
